I must apologise for choosing this book. It was really poor. Not a bit of tension or surprise… and you certainly didnt feel any closer to sandy mexican beaches!!
    Never trust those online reviews!

Don’t feel too bad Carol, I actually enjoyed this book. So thanks for recommending it! It is a long way from the great American novel. But I did enjoy reading about the ruin sites, having traveled the area many years ago it brought back some good memories. I am probably not the smartest guy in the world but I was fooled a couple times by the plot twists.

I’m with Bob, this one took me a few chapters to get into. The set-up and all the info on the Mayans kind of wore on me. But once I got into the story I could not put it down! It won’t win any writing awards, but should be made into a movie!
