A gritty and at times difficult read. Elizabeth is not a likeable character but she really lets you know just how miserable it is having an (at the time) untreatable mental condition. The endless cycles of normal and total ‘crazy’ are enough to wear you out just reading it. Thumbs up for Prozac.
I did not enjoy this book. Boring, repetitive and self-indulgent. I think there would be a strong correlation between readership of this book and the uptake of Prozac!!!!!!!!!
I have to agree with Niamh L – I thought this was a pretty pointless self indulgent book! The author was trying to make the reader as depressed as she was!
Still the most talked about book of the club, well done! Prozac!!!
It’s a must read
